Moto3 Australie : la pole pour Marquez

Rins et Guevara complètent une 1ère ligne 100% espagnole

Masbou se classe 9ème, Danilo est 32ème à Phillip Island

Le leader du Championnat du Monde Moto3 Alex Marquez prend un avantage idéal dans la course au titre en s'offrant la pole position du Grand Prix d'Australie après avoir bouclé un tour en 1'36.050 du circuit de Philip Island. Le pilote du team Estrella Galicia 0,0 a dominé de justesse son coéquipier Alex Rins tandis que Juanfran Gueverra complète une première ligne entièrement espagnole.

Meilleur pilote des essais libres, Danny Kent ouvrira la 2ème ligne. Jack Miller, qui compte désormais 25 points de retard sur Marquez au classement général, n'a pas réussi à se transcender devant son public et ne partira que de la troisième ligne après avoir signé le 8ème temps. Il devance Alexis Masbou, 9ème malgré une nouvelle chute en début de séance.

Enfin, l'autre pilote Français Jules Danilo s'élancera du fond de la grille de départ demain à Phillip Island. Le pilote d'Ambrogio Racing signe le 32ème temps des qualifications à 2.802 secondes de Marquez.
